how do you string a lacrosse stick with only one string?
i bought a gait phoenix yesterday and i realized the pocket is too low to throat of the head. i have looked at how to string lacrosse stick videos but all of them said you need like 3 strings (not including shooting strings) while it came with only one that went all around the head. how do you string this? i have already tried and did a crappy job thank you in advance
great question. more and more advanced players are going old school on mesh and pockets. there is one string in place at the throat of the stick. this may be all you need. it is not a shooting string it is a trapper string. tighten the mesh at rear of head were shaft joins head. this will move the pocket up in the stick. ball pickup and accuracy vastly improved. if you find you are hooking the baLL. THIS IS WERE the ball dives left. go to a dollar store. pur5chase a set of curly shoelaces. much better than shoelaces. easier to use. improves appearance of stick. best way to install shooting strings. 3 quarters of a inch maximum from trapper string. ask your mother to tie a braid over aND UNDER. WILL TAKE HER 3 MINUTES. IF YOU HAVE A SISTER BE NICE TO HER. YOUNG LADIES CHANGE THEIR HAIR STYLE EVERY OTHER DAY. HAVE HER DO IT. WATCH CAREFULLY THIS WILL REMOVE THE HOOK . IF STILL HOOKING MOVE STRING UP TO ONE HALF INCH. THIS DEFIANTLY WILL WORK.
