I am looking for a book I saw in a shop about ten years ago. The plot of the novel revolves around the writer Arthur Conan Doyle solving a string of murders, possibly he is trying to catch Jack the Ripper, I'm not sure. I'd appreciate any help. Thanks!
Yes, I know of Time after Time, but I am positive it is Arthur Conan Doyle. I remember reading a line on the dust jacket about someone coming up to him on a street corner. It takes place in the late 19th century.
