okay so i want 2 play field hockey. we played in school for gym ( im n the 8th grade ) and my whole team said i was like really good at it. but the other teams said i was 2 aggressive. i can run and im in shape . would i be good at doing it or am i 2 agressive ? also what season is it played . n e tips . ect...
Aggressive is good! It is better than being scared of the ball. I play field hockey, and the majority of the opponents are good, and very aggressive.
Remember to get low! Squatting and bending your knees is where all of your power will come from. Also, if you plan to play midfielder, make sure that you are in really really good shape..meaning RUNNING ALOT. If you go from defense to midfield in last minute switches, o boy, let me tell you.. but just make sure you are running alot and have great endurance!
