My 9 year old wants to play lacrosse?
We have registration tomorrow morning and I'm trying to decide if I should purchase equipment with the company the school is going with or try to find somewhere on my own. For $184.47 he gets a cascade CS Helmet, Warrior Outlaw complete stick, warrior tempo starter set that includes shoulder pad, arm guard, and gloves.
Also he has never played and I'm a little concerned that I spend all this money and he doesn't like it. Is lacrosse equipment something that I will be able to sell?

My child has done many things in his young life to enrich his development. He is already in one expensive sport so yes I'm a little nervous to add another. I'm not made of money. I do hope that he likes it.
My concern for why he may not like it is he is very sensitive. He gets hurt easily and cries really easy. he isn't very big vey skinny. I don't know a lot about lacrosse but I hear it is a little rough I'm hoping it toughens him up a little.
The equipment package is an excellent deal. That's what most everbody starts out with in lacrosse. If you bought all that seperate it would be about $250+, Lacrosse stuff does sell very well on ebay and other auctioning sites. 9 Years old is a geat age to start at lacrosse, if he does end up liking it he will go far.
